Wellll.......he still hasn’t gotten here....lol....like someone said “it’s like being stalked by a turtle”....lol....it’s a very bad menacing storm that just isn’t or wasn’t moving forward at all.....it will stay off our coast so we should have a lot of wind and rain here......our worst day is supposed to be tomorrowHAHA!! I saw that about tomrrow on the endless coverage of the (so far) increasingly less menacing storm! Bahamas look devastated. That is soooo sad.
They are really bad....it hit them at a super Cat 5 then stayed for two days on top of them at a Cat 5/4
I am surprised that anything is left standing....

I thought the dress she wore for the real wedding was much more attractive...and I kinda wondered why she didn’t wear that again!!! I know she would do very well at home decor. Sometimes we get a glimpse when she posts photos.
I can see her on an hgtv show
That would be interesting!!
She would be good as like the next Martha Stewart type of show

Don't they usually pop up and move fast?
Well ....some of them move slow but not this slow....ideally you want them to be moving forward quickly
I heard that while Dorian was hovering over the Bahamas, it was actually cooling the water there but nto by a huge amount due to the shallowness of the sea around there.

I agree...she did. I’m sure it was lovely and so nice to do that for her grandma.

No...most of the time it is below 50%! That is the only salvation!! Humidity would make it insanely unbearable. We have had more humidity than normal at times this summer...tropical storms come up from Baja Californa...that little penninsula that is south of San Diego.
Oh wow....has California ever had a hurricane
They are called typhoons in the Pacific....so, technically, no!!! LOL. Due to the trade winds/weather patterns they don’t hit the US but I have experienced a couple typhoons back in the day when I was in Asia. I think because there is no Gulf Stream to heat up the water so much, they are not so prevalent there. I’m no meteorologist so don’t quote me on that!! Just making a SWAG!!
Oh ok.....hadn’t realized they had a different name there...lol
