     Not Tango or KOS recently but Gunner and I text frequently.  It was even hotter at her house today than it was here!!  She is just trying to keep cool111

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.     HAHA!! I saw that about tomrrow on the endless coverage of the (so far) increasingly less menacing storm! Bahamas look devastated. That is soooo sad. 

     
    They are really bad....it hit them at a super Cat 5 then stayed for two days on top of them at a Cat 5/4

    I am surprised that anything is left standing....

    Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
    May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

    LOL.....isn't this strange for a hurricane?  Don't they usually pop up and move fast?

     
    Well ....some of them move slow but not this slow....ideally you want them to be moving forward quickly

     I heard that while Dorian was hovering over the Bahamas, it was actually cooling the water there but nto by a huge amount due to the shallowness of the sea around there.

    Northern hemisphere they go counter clockwise....Southern hemisphere they go clockwise

    No...most of the time it is below 50%!  That is the only salvation!!  Humidity would make it insanely unbearable.  We have had more humidity than normal at times this summer...tropical storms come up from Baja Californa...that little penninsula that is south of San Diego.

    They are called typhoons in the Pacific....so, technically, no!!!  LOL. Due to the trade winds/weather patterns they don’t hit the US but I have experienced a couple typhoons back in the day when I was in Asia.  I think because there is no Gulf Stream to heat up the water so much, they are not so prevalent there.  I’m no meteorologist so don’t quote me on that!!  Just making a SWAG!!
