I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Hi, Looks like we are almost all here. I'm just now getting on tonight, and it's already 9:30 here. Anything exciting before I go all the way back to post 265 to try to catch up?!

I have never heard of Sweet Valley books......thought I read everything!! What are they??

There was a whole series about them:  It was twin girls, Jessica and Elizabeth:  There were a TON of different series with them:

It first started when they were in High School in the early 80s, but then the author developed a series when they were kids, in junior high, and college.  It had a pretty successful run in the 80s and 90s.  Just a few years ago she came out with 2 more books:  One when they were 27 and then another set of ebooks when they were 30.....I loved the 27year old book but the ebooks I hated the ending!!!!

It was basically just like a soap opera kind of story for teens.  There were probably 300+ books.  I loved them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah...i never knew she did the ones when they were 27 and 30!!  now i'm gonna have to look them up!!

I suggest that you don't. LOL.........I looked them up and read some reviews on "the ending" and believe me when I say........let them live in the high school years. LOL

Didn't the article from a while back mention something about holding hands with the fingers intertwined????  They look like they have been together for years here...looks so natural for them...dang it what the heck is wrong with these to!!!!

NO KIDDING!!! Yes, the body language person says that means a romantic connection. I still say that the don't just turn it off like the turbine switch. It was too instantaneous, too real, and too intense. They have to know that they are meant for each other. Maybe Meryl wants to do this term in school before she makes a commitment to something else that will distract her? Dunno--just guessing........ I suspect that she could feel almost discombobulated with all the stimulation she's had since January.

Oh--did anyone else pick up Meryl's mom's comment that she got more fame, if you will, from dwts than the Olympics?!! THAT had to feel weird!!! Especially since the furor is still out there to some degree at least. It may quiet down once the new season begins.

LOL...ok.....ummmm...ahemmm....am i the only one whos mind went to a "dirty place"  with the sentence about being discombobulated???...or have I been spending too much time in "little blue shorts appreciation" class????!!LOL

Oh--it was the STIMULATION you underlined, eh?!!!  LOL  Too much time in "little blue shorts appreciation" class!!!  LOL

CEK   HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Fla State is playing  now, so I'd better get back!  Been a great football day.  Loved Navy and OSU.  The playing of their songs at the end was very moving.  I heard that the OSU coach told his players that they were going to play hard, but with respect for Navy because these young men had committed their lives to protecting the rest of us.  I was sorry Navy didn't win, but OSU did play with respect.

Navy doesn't often win, do they??!!  I don't think the academies have the same "advantage" or recruiting jocks without academic credentials.  I think that academy players basically play as walk-ons because they have to be selected like all the non-athletes who are accepted.  Anyone know for sure?
