I think as many people as he knows that someone has a private jet he can fly on when he or Meryl want to fly un-noticed!!!!

I still think he is too old for her--at this point. If 5 or so years there are feelings there on both ends, it will be a different story. Just too much difference between a MAN of 28 and a GIRL of 18. She doesn't really know who she is yet.

I agree with you...she is probably a bit more mature than he is as well...I really think that Val is still trying to find himself and maybe when she is about 25 or 26 he will know what he really wants too...She has a chance to go really far with her career and I feel at her age she should follow that while she is young and has no real responsibilities, except going to college...

I really think thats what Val wants for her too....there is definitely a connection between them of some sort but he seems to be keeping things age appropriate....i have to wonder if they even know what their feelings are for each other yet

LOL...and ok it's been years sense i was at Yosimite but how likely was it they spent 4 days there out on the lake and weren't spotted by anyone???? THAT group of men and NO women spotted them????really????.....hmmmm....anyone that's been there know???....seems more likely not to be spotted on the lake in Michigan.....hmmmmm

There it all is--right out of the tiger's mouth!!! Did you read some of the comments? They were the same things we would have written--aka, that he is in love with her and the two are perfect for each other. I am thoroughly convinced these two are ON IT (I mean that not in a naughty way--but simply that they are aware and no doubt planning their future).

I would venture to say that I believe what I believe because Maks is so OBVIOUSLY in love that he won't be the one to eat his words unless she rejects him--and I think she has too much respect to lead him down the primrose path and then give him the Dear John.  That doesn't seem to be who she is in any way, shape, or form.  He realizes she is a "real person" and that is one of the qualities he most admires.  No Hollywood, complete sincerity....just a good ol' fashioned Midwestern girl.  What you see is what you get!   I also don't think Meryl has had that many serious relationships--never had time--so it is very flattering to get the attention she does from Maks--and I'm sure she loves that!!  I think she is taking it slowly enough to work out the details and see him in a greater variety of settings.  She is the only woman, I think, he's dated or been with that has so openly exposed his vulnerable side--and I think he likes being that open and still comfortable.  That is a new thing for him and one that is theirs to own and explore.

Didn't mean to go on and on.....I tend to overthink these things!!!  LOL
