The other part of Meryl is that I'm pretty sure she is conservatively cautious so for her to allow herself to let go with Maks and become intimate (presumably), she must have felt he was sincere. As we all know. most women approach men with a different sense of emotion and some expectation that it won't be a fling that makes them feel taken advantage of by the guy. I am pretty sure that Meryl wasn't interested in being perceived in a negative light by a "showmance" with the PDA and rumors flying--so she must have a pretty high level of trust in Maks to have weathered the JLo stuff, etc. Would love to know what advice her parents have given. But they have probably spent a fair amount of time getting to know Maks through the season and when they spent those first 2 weeks preseason rehearsing in Detroit.

i really think your right...and for them to have gone to NY only to attend Sway when Meryl wasn't even in the country...to me that says alot about how they see Maks and what they think of him

I would wager that they are on each other's minds every minute of every day--and all nite long--with or without being together!!  That is how true love works when you're young and foolish!!!  A HUGE distraction!  Gee--is that why we are always talking about it??  Does it make us young and foolish too??!!! Yeah--and especially after seeing their little girl expose HERself on the dance floor like she did!!! They know something is going on and they also know that if she chooses to marry Maks that it is best if they get to know him well so they feel safe and comfortable with him also....so they have a bond and he feels welcome in their home.  At least Meryl has a long history of giving public interviews so that isn't new to her.  It's just new that she is asked about Maks and won't answer!  Bet no one asked much about FedEx!!!  LOL  She will figure it out when they are more or less forced to show their hand (ie. with an engagement ring on it?!).
