Yep april I was thinking the same things you were about him...Yeah and the C bro's are good guys....how many times have we heard people say the C bro's want the best for the ones they care about the most....and Z seems like a really nice young lady that has her head on straight and is very grounded....i think her parents have alot to do with that
And Daddy is there to protect his baby--trust me!!! LOL

Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

I agree just like with Meryl they seem to know the ones that will make a difference in their lives by the way they live theres....Meryl and Z are smart, beautiful, determined, focused young ladies and we know that is what Maks needs in his life...I think val would do well with someone in the same business as he is in...not meaning Z specifically just as an example...
yeah and i think when they find people like that they really cherish them and hold onto them

The other part of Meryl is that I'm pretty sure she is conservatively cautious so for her to allow herself to let go with Maks and become intimate (presumably), she must have felt he was sincere. As we all know. most women approach men with a different sense of emotion and some expectation that it won't be a fling that makes them feel taken advantage of by the guy. I am pretty sure that Meryl wasn't interested in being perceived in a negative light by a "showmance" with the PDA and rumors flying--so she must have a pretty high level of trust in Maks to have weathered the JLo stuff, etc. Would love to know what advice her parents have given. But they have probably spent a fair amount of time getting to know Maks through the season and when they spent those first 2 weeks preseason rehearsing in Detroit.i really think your right...and for them to have gone to NY only to attend Sway when Meryl wasn't even in the country...to me that says alot about how they see Maks and what they think of him
Yeah--and especially after seeing their little girl expose HERself on the dance floor like she did!!! They know something is going on and they also know that if she chooses to marry Maks that it is best if they get to know him well so they feel safe and comfortable with him also....so they have a bond and he feels welcome in their home. At least Meryl has a long history of giving public interviews so that isn't new to her. It's just new that she is asked about Maks and won't answer! Bet no one asked much about FedEx!!! LOL She will figure it out when they are more or less forced to show their hand (ie. with an engagement ring on it?!).
she seems to already be relaxing a small degree liking some of his posts again or posts about him and she's not trying to hide the ring any more either
