Oh how sad for him. He was such a marvel at what he did. (I don't like boxing......and hate the sport) but he was a legend in his own right. How terrible to be in the state he is in now. Sad for him and for his family.

Re: lovers trip......ugh.....maybe, we have been shipping a couple who are not even on board. IF Meryl and Maks were in a relationship, I would think it would hurt her a great deal to see and to know that he took "that woman" with him, even if innocently. Meryl loves Italy.

So, he didn't want anyone to think he and Meryl were dating, but he doesn't care if they think he is with this girl? Maybe he and Meryl ARE just friends. Well, let him get involved with this model and see where it goes! IMO, she is just someone to ____!

I think it was the other way around. Meryl didn't want anyone to know that she was dating Maks. Maks would have shouted it from the rooftops. All signs point to friendship for me.

No, it was a couple of years ago. I can't remember where we were going, maybe Atlanta. He perked up at the end of the flight when people came up to him for photos. They put him on the plane first, quietly. He was in the very front of the plane, so it took a while before people knew he was there.

I kind of agree.......Maks and Meryl and JUST friends.

LOL...i don't know i think it simply means she is aware of whats going on whatever that might be and is ok with it....whatever is between them we will probably not know....but i will say after all the trouble Maks has gone to to keep his dating life private to the point of not answering questions about Meryl or JLO or Karina....why would he suddenly decide to be out there on that kind of scale with anyone much less someone that is gauranteed to hurt his image if he acknowleges a relationship with her...i don't think he would....that's why i think we should wait for more info and see what happens...and why despite how it looks i think it could be nothing....he has posed in far more touchy feely contact with other women then he is showing in those pics....heck with Karina and the suitcase he wasn't wearing pants...and it meant nothing

Carrie, I think you are right. I think Maks was all in and Meryl needed time. By her mother's own words, she's not worldly because she's spent her life in a skating rink. I think she didn't know how to handle things, and he got tired of waiting. My guess is that with this trip he's letting her know that he's moving on. I do wonder if there will be much left of the friendship after this. It's so in your face.

Sorry guys....don't hate me....but I'm done with Maks and Meryl. Not with you guys don't worry. If good news happens of course I'll be thrilled and so happy....but with all that continues to happen, I just really don't buy anything other than friendship from those two.
