Carrie, we could never hate you...........I kind of believe that they are just friends too.  I think maybe, they wanted to start something, but he went to India, her to Hawaii and when they got back Jlo hit, and they really couldn't get back on track after that because of the rumors, distance and time they spent away from each other.  This is just my opinion.......their relationship never got off the ground.

Luv,  I think this is exactly what happened.   It makes me sad, but things were good even when she was in Hawaii and he in India.  After the diva rumors, there was probably nothing left.  Remember the friend of a friend who claimed to work for AH?  She said that Meryl's rep said she was no longer interested in dating him, this was in the middle of the diva stuff.  We blew it off at the time, but it stayed in the back of my mind.  I think probably then, she decided she didn't want the gossip.  After all, he went out of his way to go to diva stuff, and never really denied it.  I think maybe they have tried, but distance and his visable behavior probably has upset her and pushed her even further away.

LOL...i don't know i think it simply means she is aware of whats going on whatever that might be and is ok with it....whatever is between them we will probably not know....but i will say after all the trouble Maks has gone to to keep his dating life private to the point of not answering questions about Meryl or JLO or Karina....why would he suddenly decide to be out there on that kind of scale with anyone much less someone that is gauranteed to hurt his image if he acknowleges a relationship with her...i don't think he would....that's why i think we should wait for more info and see what happens...and why despite how it looks i think it could be nothing....he has posed in far more touchy feely contact with other women then he is showing in those pics....heck with Karina and the suitcase he wasn't wearing pants...and it meant nothing 

April, I hear what you are saying, but he didn't go off on a 5 day trip with Karina.  I don't know.  I hurt for both of them.  I don't think this is what Maks really wants, and I think Meryl has trapped herself by not knowing what to do and how to have a relationship with someone that's in the public eye.  I'm just very sad for both of them.  No matter what comes out, I don't think this is good for Maks' image with the fans.  Most of the public don't even know who he is, but his fans expect something better.

Here's my own personal take on this. If I were Meryl and in love with Maks, it wouldn't matter what his situation is, he would be TOAST. But, if i were Meryl and not in love with Maks, then I probably wouldn't care. Here's the bottom line for me: If Meryl and Maks don't make it together, then HE is the loser, not Meryl. If he is now a one woman man, who is the woman? I have to kind of feel sorry for him because I picture him as  the maligned, bullied immigrant boy who has had success in the U.S. but still feels insecure. He wants to hobnob with all these names to get himself noticed. I CAN'T imagine him getting serious over Devin (as in getting married to her.) Maybe he brought her along for sex, who knows? Bringing a woman on a five-day trip? Shoot, Reba McIntyre is going to be there, and she probably isn't bringing her HUSBAND!

I would expect them to dance during the finale (unless she is too put out with him by then).  Kellie Pickler and Amber Riley both came back and sang (because that is what got them noticed in the first place and why they were on DWTS) but we couldn't expect Meryl and Charlie to do any ice dancing, so she would have to just dance with someone. Usually, the winner doesn't perform with the pro that they won with -- they just go it solo or make a big production like Amber did. 
 

did you see LoLo said she would be calling Meryl for advice this season....wonder if that'll make the show....

No, I didn't see that but had heard about it.
