It's a 5 day event with lots of activities.  Most of the people going are high rollers or trying to be high rollers (ok, that's my opinion).  It for Ali's charity.  His daughter was  Maks' partner a few seasons ago and my guess is he was invited to fill space, and he in turn invited Devin to be his date.  It was listed as a "lover's trip".

Today Meryl liked picture of Val, and started following Val's partner (don't remember her name) AND responded to Alex's tweet.  She's been busy on line today.  

I think this about covers it. 

Ollie, where did you read that it was a lovers trip?  I thought maybe he took her for some business reason concerning Denim.
 

My question is THIS: why did he have to take a date, anyway? Let her find her own way over there and sit by herself on the plane!
 

 
A Brazilian hair cut can be styled like the mop we have seen on Maks's head or the brush I have seen on my son's head.  But it can also be styled the way Maks's hair looks tonight and look clasically smashing.  How do I know?  My 34 year old son, who doesn't even know who Maks is, recently got the same haircut at the urging of his stylist.  The Brazilian appears to be the rage among hair stylists who want their clients to try it.  Why am I mentioning this?  Because we are giving Maks a hard time even about his hair and assigning motives to him that he probably does not have.

I have to agree with you...Maks has done nothing at all...it is always what Maks did...well only time will tell in the end...

Carrie, I have to agree with you. I just don't understand why he is being so blatant here but so secretive with Meryl. I'm thinking now it's because nothing was going on with Meryl -- they weren't hiding because there was nothing to hide. I think the exact opposite is true.   He takes pictures with women all the time.   That's part of his job as a "celebrity."   As Gabriele says, it very true that he's not really touching Devin with his whole hand.   I hadn't noticed that.   Meryl doesn't like the public attention.   It is precisely because there is something very serious between them that he is treating it so privately.   He said himself that anything that happened between them would be out of the public eye.    It is precisely because there is nothing between him and Devin that he was photographed with her.   We don't know who was taking those pictures, and what happened before and after the shots.  

As I said, I REALLY hope your point of view is the correct one; I would love to be proven wrong.
