Sorry, I had to laugh at myself.  I was just looking at the picture of the cocktail party and thought that those people would be interested in talking with Meryl----- a bikini internet blogger- not so much.  But most of them are Hollywood people or people from AZ with money, so they are probably used to 20 yr olds hanging around.  Maks says he wants someone he can look up to.   things that make you go hmmmm.

But net worth is not all liquid assets.  That includes property, stocks, bonds, and doesn't necessarily reflect revenue or cash flow.  I would expect if he is at a charity to have ponied up something for the trip....even if some of it is a sort of "in kind" trade.

That is pretty much what I'm hopeful for. I am certain that she really wants to get her degree done--and I believe she and Charlie won't compete anymore cuz he is gonna move on. She may not be quite ready to commit to any relationship until she decompresses from the last year's pressures, etc. Hopefully Maks will be willing to wait and see how she feels, unless, of course, she decides just being friends is all she wants. I just think he is the real loser if he lets her slip away....but what do I know?! LOL All from the crow's nest on this ship!!!

LOL....i think at this point finishing college is her big goal...most of their friends have already graduated and they have both said it's very important to them to finish and get their degrees and i think it's important to them that they finish it together....like the finish line of all the goals they wanted to reach together growing up...and i don't think the two of them will see their partnership as complete until they reach that final goal together

I would agree with that--and have considered that a major hitch in the git-along.  Hopefully Meryl is working hard to move that along so she can take the next step in life--wherever and whatever that is.

I apologize for the size of the picture of tonight's dinner.  It was a relatively small photo.  I had no idea that it would become so big when I posted it.  LOL
