And do we honestly believe that he would make the decision not to be a pro dancer any longer on DWTS before the finale and stick to this decision all through negotiations with DWTS only to turn around and trash Meryl by taking up with a bikini model? Devin actually co-owns with another young woman, the bikini swim suit company for which she models. The financial ramifications of deciding not to be a pro again are enormous. Yes, Maks co-owns dance studios; but these dance studios also support a lot of people. To keep them viable and to grow his businesses, Maks has to stay current and ito stay in the public eye if he is to grow his business concerns.
Amen Kos!!! and when asked why he won't return as a dancer ...his answer "I would feel like I was cheating on Meryl".....the man can't handle the thought of cheating on her even in just a dance; so why would he cheat on her romantically????? that would mean so much more to him than a dance and he can't even "cheat" on her by simply dancing with another celeb on DWTS...to the point he gave up his career his biggest source of income not only for himself but his family...and remember him and Val's motto "fam over everything" ....Meryl has to mean alot to him for him to put her over his fam like that

April, thank you so much for this addtional paragraph that so deepens the significance of what Maks did when he made and then acted on the decision not to be a pro dancer with DWTS any longer. I personally believe that his decision not to dance any longer as a pro, which they had to have discussed; that her words to him about that decision after their freestyle dance; and that his response to her answer to his hand holding question all signaled a relationship that was on its way to marriage. No honorable girl says what she did to him after their freestlye unless she is thinking commitment on her part because in saying what she did, she endorsed his decision to give up a large portion of his income and the publicity that goes with it. Her parents attending SWAY deepened my conviction. And so I have believed all along that these two are indeed in constant communication.
