The teacher did create a new set of instructions for a pretty simple quilt. I just collect all of what she hands out…then I can use them for the church group!! LOL. We are making pillow cases there right now…for vets and sick kids.

YIKES!!! It has been comfortable here for the past week or so. Supposed to get hotter again east of us. May need the AC then here but hopefully only for a few ours in the afternoon.

So glad to hear you got your AC fixed. Did the price turn out pretty reasonable?

They should mention him....I think with Tom, they would for sure mention or do a tribute to him...Tyra, I am not so sure

LOL!!!! Well, that sounds good that the house was still standing when she got home. LOL Has school started for the students out there? We are in our second week here.
Some districts have started. In some parts of SoCal they started on the 12th, I think (where my SIL lives), our district here started yesterday. I think Orange County schools started about a week go. Son-in-law and oldest granddaughter there are in their 2nd or 3rd week. F is running for VP of the freshman class!! Dunno when the election is. So daughter and the other kids start on Monday next week. You would think they could standardize the school year a bit better, wouidn’t you?!!!

We started back to quilt class today!!

Oh wow.....they’ve been busy.....any new quilts you’ve been working on

We’ll…that is an interesting story! I think I told you the part was $899 or so. So another guy came out the next week and installed the new circuit board. Got it all in and ran the AC….same thing!!! So he called the boss, who came out the next day. He had mentioned to us when he was here that it might be the blower motor, but he second guessed himself and didn’t check because cold air was blowing. So it turned out that the high rpm speed had failed, but the medium and low still worked!!! So he suggested that we just not replace that until/unless it fails completely!! Sounded good to us….so he charged us $299.00 and we have a spare circuit board to boot!! LOL. So I would say we made out alright!
