I know jet...and the washers....they have some that the machine determines how much water goes in the load and you  have no control over it...it has more buttons on it than the inside of a car...The way I see it that is just one more thing that will break..

Some of the washers when they start the lid locks and you have to pause it to open the lid if you forgot to put something in it...I asked why and they said to keep children out...

I am with you--more stuff to break. Just on--off--and not much else!!! As long as it works--that's all I care!!! HAHA

Just don't put your grandkids inside the washer, CEK!!! LOL

LOL

hmmmmmmm....ok I won't!!! LOL

And now they say that your appliances are not suppose to last but 5-7 years...my old washer (the one we are using now was my daughters in her apt at college) was about 24 years old when we got rid of it!!!

Yes. This is the one with the matching bracelet that she wore at NASCAR. So they must be her "sports rings"!! LOL This one looks like the one someone showed on Maks' hand recently. So he's gotten them matching rings....hmmmmm.....and this is today....hmmmmm....so the dame in Italy is just a gold digger looking for publicity with a Russian hunk!! LOL

LOL...i wonder if these are some kind of "we won together" memory rings

The one with the big diamond may be since it appeared first. This one is more sporty--every day wear--just a reminder that she belongs to the "one" who gave it to her!!! LOL YEA!!!

LOL...yep and the one who has also worn a ring a few times himself

A lot of local celebs or previous winners are in the audience....Yamaguchi is one that goes a lot, I've noticed. Florence Henderson as well.

I think Meryl will always do what is expected and seen as a commitment or a favor. She is that type of person. Grateful, humble, and reciprocal. If Maks has a legit reason for not going to dwts for anything, she would probably support him in that way but it may not be her decision for herself unless it is dancing with someone else. If they were smart, tho, and Maks turned them down, they would partner her with Val.

I thought about that too, but Val might not have time to practice with her if he and his partner are in the finale. I also thought about Derek, but am not sure what Maks would think about that. In an ideal world, they would have an intermission, and everyone would get up and walk into another room that had an ice rink. Then she and Charlie could do some ice dancing. After all, that is why they were invited to be on the show in the first place.
Back to dancing at the finale with Maks, though! That would be a ratings bonanza, and they would have to bring in extra chairs for the audience, I think.

Well, there is always Tony!! He will be done early--that is his role on the show!!! LOL I'm sure Maks would be ok with her dancing with him since he is family!!!

I thought about Tony, too, just today. Wonder how long he and Betsey will last? Nene lasted longer, I think, than was expected. Maybe she has a huge fan base that voted for her.

Yes--all made in China now so what can you expect?  We have about a 10 or 12 year old Maytag washer that has held up well; but the last time the dryer went out was at Christmas right about the time our daughter got married.....15 years ago!!  So I called a repair guy--he was about 80 at that time!!  He told me it would cost like $150.00 to fix the one we had (gas burner went out or something) but he had a Kenmore he had just refurbished that he'd sell us for $200.00.  So we went for it!!  That thing is STILL going!!!  Doesn't look that great inside--but it's always looked that way.  But works like a champ!  (Now that I've bragged about it, it will probably quit working tomorrow but such is life!!  Have def gotten my money out of it!!!)!!!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. We fell in love, but our way. Maks

Yay for your new Dryer......

LOL

3 CHEERS FOR CEK!! No reason to get a dryer that does more than come on and go off!!! Gonna do the same thing--and if you are like me, I rarely use other cycles!!!

So many new appliances today are just too complicated -- I like the simple ones too.
