LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Umm.......so is this a model airplane or a big one? I just can't imagine a fluorescent plane of any size. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!Models but they paint them up to replicate a full size aircraft. Hubby has a wicked eye for the colors and knows the color chart backwards and forwards!!
WOW......okay, now you have me curious to know what kind of plane would use fluorescent paint....couldn't have been a "bomber". lol
Most of the ones that were painted fluorescent colors were retired airplane that were used as target drones in the desert of CA. Hubby built a fluorescent jet years ago (we still have the parts!!) that was fluorescent red!! It had been a target drone at China Lake, which is up the road from us near Death Valley.

I wonder if the gauge was broken or something......I know NOTHING about planes....it just seems like the would be something that could be easily checked.Depends on how experienced the pilot was. Sometimes they get distracted and either don’t go thru the check list or don’t do it. The purpose of the checklist is to be certain you don’t miss anything you need to check before take off or landing. All airplanes have them. Low time pilots sometimes just aren’t disciplined or figure it is all ready. Could be a faulty gauge but not likely.
That just makes it even more sadder......IF, it could have been prevented by checking a few things......
I think if the co owner of the plane was the actual pilot he may have had is pilots license for several year. The article said he took the plane to Richmond last week.

Ummm…yes! Pilot error not to have all that stuff in order and checked before firing up the engine.I wonder if the gauge was broken or something......I know NOTHING about planes....it just seems like the would be something that could be easily checked.
Jet I am trying to get a pic of the plane on the board...it is on one of the news reports. It looks to me that the plane is in tack
Is the tail in the shape of a “V” or is it conventional with the vertical fin and horizontal fin??

LOL....interesting debate....are specific planes specific colors????
Yes….they are scale to a full size airplane so they pick a photo of a real airplane they want to build or have built and paint it up to look just like the big one. The airplane in debate is Korean era.
so is it like a model kit or do they have to build the pieces too
Could be a kit or could be scratch built.
