Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

I know it could have been really bad. It has a long way to go to heal because they said it has to heal from the inside out. That is why the stitches haven’t closed it up perfectly like if you had actual plastic surgery.
I just can’t believe he did what he did to do it.

It is very easy to do....I guess, I have heard a lot of people that get hurt using a table saw.

Table saws can be very dangerous…..awful!  Lucky he didn’t lose part of his thumb.  Praying it will heal OK without any loss of function.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. I must have missed something.  What happened, CEK??

Oh I am sorry Jet. Saturday morning hubby was working in the garage building a shelf for a friend and he had an in counter with his thumb and the bald of the table saw. It wasn’t pretty and we spend that afternoon in the ER.

Oh, man….how horrible.  😱

My dad did loose parts of his thumb/fingers...the tips...so unless you really looked you couldn't tell.

We have a table saw, but hubby doesn’t use it very often.  Hasn’t had a need to recently.
