It is very easy to do....I guess, I have heard a lot of people that get hurt using a table saw.

Funny you say that because he was the second one that cut their finger on the table saw this weekend…My daddy actually did it too.

Table saws can be very dangerous…..awful!  Lucky he didn’t lose part of his thumb.  Praying it will heal OK without any loss of function.

We are keeping a close eye on that.  I know that is a huge possibility because of the type of injury.  We have to soak it in warm salt water and keep it open to air out when we change the bandage this week.  He will have weekly doctor appointments to make sure all is going well.

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Hubby lost the tips of two of his fingers on his right hand when he got it caught in the router in 1996.  His piece of wood hit a knot and pulled his fingers in the blade of the router.  He had to have surgery and had to have pins put in them so they would heal.

His injury this time was he reached to pick up the piece of wood he had cut off the bigger piece with his left hand and the blade hadn’t stopped spinning yet.
