Boy my votes are going down the potty tonight...

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

April...I just read that Megan Fox left Brian when he was bedridden with his health condition.

Awww, man….that is ugly!  A former pastor of ours…before that….was a cop.  He was shot 9 times and while he was in the hospital fighting for his life, his wife came in, stood at the end of the bed, and said she didn’t want to be married anymore!!  Talk about insult to injury.  He was a great man….and stayed close to all his kids and granddaughter, whom he loved deeply.   He died a few years ago in his sleep of a heart attack but we all miss him.  Fun guy!

Oh man, that story is beyond CRUEL....Glad he made a good recovery and was able to stay close to his kids and granddaughter

His faith made the recovery possible.  He talked about how he always had a Bible on the seat next to him in the patrol car.  When he had a break would park under a tree with coffee and read it.  He became a clergyman later in life.  But he wasn’t able to go back to the PD due to PTSD so they retired him.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. I think for tomorrow night I am going to put all the couples names in a hat and pull them out , it will probably work better than thinking about it.

Well, I can not think of a better "calling" then the jobs he had. I am glad that he had such strong faith and was able to turn a bad situation into a good one.  I bet he made a great clergyman.

Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

Oh wow that is terrible.  I am glad that he was close to his children and grandchildren.  I don't understand some people.
