That is great that they are going to let service animals in school. they have been doing that around here for awhile, but I don't think anyone had a pony. lol They are cute though and do good service work
I know some dogs are bigger than the ponies. I tell you with things the way they are there are a lot of people with mental issues that need that support of a service animal.
Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Funny you ask that to April. I told my whole family that since all the pets we have had here including Oliver were not really mine. They were or are my daughter and my sons (Oliver and Zelda were my sons before he got married had 3 kids and 3 dogs). I said that heaven forbid them passing but when that time comes I need time to just not have to be worried about another for a bit. I am not saying I wouldn't get another pet but the next one would be one that I decided on.
My SIL keeps saying he wants a pet pig....well they will have to move if they get one. LOLI can understand that CEK.....I am still missing my two "great loved" pets, even though I have another. Sometimes, you just need a break.....but I must agree.....no pigs.......but april might get a pig...RIGHT??? LOL
LOL...my mom had one.....he was great ....lol

If I lived on a farm or in the country I would consider "livestock". When I was younger I had a pet mallard duck name Popcorn. She thought she was a dog and slept with my dog Lady. She followed her around and if she got scared of something she would peck the door....She was friendly but someone got in the yard and stole her one night.
LOL..........what a great story.....that is until I got to the stolen part.....I hope she got a good home and that something didn't happen to her

Yep....lol....she definitely runs the houseIt is her house and she just lets you live in it. LOL!!!!

Right.......she gets to rule the house like the queen she is...LOLI know it is hard when they are older they become the ruler of the house and I think sometime it stresses the older ones out to add a new one to the house.
Yeah....she is possessive of my hubby....lol.....and well.....she was Nieceys so when Niecey passed away we kind of spoiled her rotten....lol
Zelda likes men and will snuggle up to hubby in bed...she use to sleep with my son when she was there with him. Oliver was my snuggle buddy...

That is usually the way cats are. Pabst is cautious of Zelda, him and Oliver were semi-buddies. When Gato my SIL's cat was still living Pabst was scared of her. She was a Calico and she was the boss.

In support of pigs they can be smart. I had a friend that had a big furry rabbit as a pet.
My mom loved canaries She had them my whole life when I was growing up and they would sing for her.
