Hubby just had sinus issues and a fever for less than 24 hours. No other symptoms. And he was vaccinated, right? That’s the part that bothers me. Get the vax and get covid! I don’t remember getting polio from the vaccine!
Yes he was. I know what you mean. Or Small Pox. I never got the measles vaccines cause they didn’t have them or the one for Chicken Pox but I had them so do we as older adults have to get those vaccines since they don’t seem to think the immunity for COVID is valid. We are the only country from what I read that does not accept natural immunity as immunity.
Really? That is one crazy idea. Natural Immunity is the best....I mean, those older vaccines made you HAVE Natural Immunity.

Vmm.....how is your sister or brother doing with the news? Are they really worried having such young children, especially a preemie?
They seemed a bit worried. I felt horrible, and the stress of having to drive home mostly in the dark made it worse.
Oh VmmmI am so sorry that this has happened. We will say lots of prayers that all will be ok. Group Sisterhood hug…

Oh, I am creating a recipe book for her so she will have something tangible for when she might want to do it herself! He wanted her to learn to make a traditional TG dinner. I felt honored that he asked me to do that! This “kid”” (now 43!) spent everything TG and Christmas with us during their college years….and was here once or twice during the summer also. They are such fun!How nice of you to do that for them. I am sure that they will love the recipe book AND that must be pretty flattering that he asked you to help her.....your food must have really made an impression on him. LOL
My DIL and daughter in FL want me to do a recipe book of my go to recipes. I really should do it.
You really should.....it’s awesome to have those family recipes to pass down

Well, a couple of things. Most vaccines are tested for 4-6 years before they are released to the public. This one is still experimental. They kinda seem to have some similar break thru cases of shingles after that vaccine also. Doesn’t seem to be as frequent as Covid, tho. Derek Hough is out tonite because of a break thru case of covid. Seems like they come thru quite often.

I agree about the family. And as the kids get older, it gets tougher to get things for the kids because they don’t need anything.
True. Unlike when I was younger we didn’t get things all year long and just waited for the Sears Christmas Catalog to come and we could write a list a mile long for Santa and get one or two things. LOLThat was soooo much better! Something to look forward to and then it was always a real treat when you got something on the list!!
I know Jet. This generation has no idea of the anticipation of what will be under the tree. You ask them what they want and they can’t even tell you or what they want you would have to sell your house to get it for them. LOL

Glad that you made it home okay. Yes, the stress and then having to drive a distance is terrible. Hopefully, the parents worry and concern will be for nothing.....then again, parents are always worried and concerned about "their babies" no matter what. LOL
For sure….and there is a lot conflicting information floating around as well. I would just say test at home in a couple more days and see how that turns out.

The great thing is that kids 0-20 are generally immune or are asymptomatic. My 2 little nieces in AZ got it a few weeks back. Fever for 12 hours and the only reason their mom knew they had it was the younger one said food tasted weird!!
Hubby just had sinus issues and a fever for less than 24 hours. No other symptoms.
That’s the hard part about this whole Covid thing.....so many things all have the same symptoms
I know and we here in this are have terrible sinus issues because of the weather change back and forth from cold to warm. Just like the past couple weeks.
