Hope things are good with you. I will wait and watch next week since you and Luv are not here tonight. I would be off and on with Pabst. He was at the vet and didn’t get home till late so he missed his lunch and he is off schedule.
I have been watching but they haven’t done any singing tonight it is the road to the finale. LOL

Hey Luv, I got your email. I am watching but they aren’t really singing so far. It is the road to the finale so they are going over the previous weeks.
I will hopefully get to chat with you all soon. Pabst didn’t get home till late so he is off his schedule and gong in and out and his meals are off too.
I will email you and update you on what we found out.

Glad to see you all are hanging in there. It has been quite hectic here…but am opting for a little respite before we hit the road for our car trip in a couple months!
I ended up getting involved in helping our young church secretary who has become a wonderful friend with her wedding dress alterations. In addition, having given her a bridal shower 3 weeks before the wedding, which was May 14, I went crazy for the last 3 weeks with the gown alterations (she got sick a week before the shower so we lost really 2 weeks), finishing the bed sized quilt I decided to make for their gift, and also making a friendship quilt for her with blocks made by everyone who came to the shower!! It is safe to say that I think I almost sewed my fingers to the bone…but got it all done a couple days prior to the wedding!!! 😊😊
The wedding was last Saturday—and it was lovely! From my kids’ weddings, it is such a relief when it is over, but the memories are such a high that it stays with you for a while. Since I was sort of invested in the same way with this one, I was sort of left with that feeling after it was over. The bride looked gorgeous…and the dress, she told me, fit perfectly and was so comfortable (there were a few dicey question marks at first!) she was really enjoying wearing it!! That was awesome just to hear.
Meanwhile, I am trying to make kind’ve a memory quilt from our perspective for the widow of my hubby’s cousin in CO—the one who passed away in March. It is kind’ve a farm quilt, since they are farmers and country people….and I plan to make buildings/houses along the top and bottom that sort of resemble their homes, the church in their tiny community, what was the school when my hubby was a child and went to school there briefly, etc. It is moving along now that I’ve made enough log cabin blocks to put together some of the center of the quilt.
Since I don’t know how to post photos anymore on the MB, maybe someone can give me some tips via email and I’ll try to post a few recent quilt photos?? Luv?? April??? CEK???
Anyway, I miss all of you and think of you often! I will try to be more “present” here and on email. The troubles I had with my email more or less made me an email Scrooge because 99,5% of what I get there is garbage that I have to just delete!!! Will try to do better!!!! 😊🤞

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl
