Hey Luv…I remembered tonight was Monday!!! How are you?

LOL!!!

 I am doing fine.

Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

I was just going to ask you about your hubby April. I know they are exhausted down there.

Yeah….just talked to him…(.lol….he said he remembered to call before 8 ….LOL)…..he said it’s bad down there

I think we just can’t conceive how vast and devastating it must be when you look at the area in person.  God bless him for doing the work he and his crew do.

I agree Jet.

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Yay!!!!!

Hi, vmmm….how are things in your neck of the woods, as they say?!

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. The pictures that they show are so unbelievable it is just so hard to imagine the damage.

Sanibel and Captiva got it really bad…..it’s sad ….I’ve been to Sanibel a few times and it’s a really naturally beautiful place

Hey, CEK….How are you?  Hope all is well in your world!

Hey Jet.  I am doing pretty good.  Taking one day at a time.  Things are good here since the weather has gotten a bit cooler.

How are things on your side of the country?

Cek are you feeling more back to normal yet???

April I am better than I was but I am not back to myself yet.  I still get really tired but it isn’t every day and it will hit me all of a sudden.  My doctor told me that is normal.  I am having a bit of trouble with my hair falling out too.  That just started and not sure if it is from the COVID or my anxiety.  If it is anxiety I will be bald soon…LOL

Unfortunately, it was a beautiful place.  I guess they did get a pontoon boat ferry going from Sanibel.  Was that your hubby’s group?

I think about him every day.  Bet he is exhausted.  I know the devastation was INSANE down there.  I can only try to magnify it enough to realize how bad it is.  I know they are all working hard and doing a fabulous job of helping people.  They deserve medals….but that would probably seem insignificant.

This is his 10th hurricane deployment….around our area it’s looking a lot better

Did you have any flooding in your house?

Not in our house….a little in our yard but not bad….but the big lake behind us is still over it’s banks and way up on the sea wall

Yes…hair loss is part of covid “fall out”!  Pardon the pun!!  Have a friend who is having the same issue and she has been receovered for quite a long time.
