Not in our house….a little in our yard but not bad….but the big lake behind us is still over it’s banks and way up on the sea wall

And to think you guys are prepared for these things!!  We would be in deep doo-doo here just with heavy rainfall for a while!  Back in the mid-90’s we got 36” of rain one winter.  Streets were flooded but most of it ran out into the ocean.  We don’t have storm drains!!

They have opened the locks on the lakes so through the system of rivers and canals they will slowly drain it all towards Lake Ocachobe and the Everglades

That is very interesting!  I never knew there were locks in FL!!!  We toured the locks in Sautl Ste. Marie over the summer.  It was quite fascinating.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. I think we just can’t conceive how vast and devastating it must be when you look at the area in person.  God bless him for doing the work he and his crew do.

Yeah it’s a lot….and they have to stay in campers because most buildings have damage….but at least the state got them campers and they didn’t have to stay in tents like they thought

Yes…that was good!!  I am impressed with how prepared the state was for something that no one could really imagine would be soooo bad.

Weeeeelllll…..it’s not our first go around….we stay prepared like the Northern States stay prepared for snow

I read why Mark came back to the show….

The old producer came back after they got rid of the one that let Tom and Erin go and called Mark and asked him to come back.

Oh, wow

Yeah…O think they really needed kind’ve a rejuvenation if the show was going to continue.  Sometimes everything that’s old is new again!!  And not everything that is old is bad or even out of date with a little fine tuning!

Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

I hear you!  I know you have had lots of practice!!!  LOL. But it seems that we have an excess of criticism in some areas of our world….and there has been very little of how FL has been handled before and after the hurricane.  Maybe we are turning a corner??!!  I would hope so!!  After all, everyone is huma and not a one of us is perfect!!
