Mark was Anxiety and he was in my opinion trying to take over Charly and she was trying to get away from him.  It was classic Mark.

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Bend is still a nice little city.  It was much smaller back in the ‘70s but it is still pretty quaint and pretty small town feeling.  I was up there at the Sisters Quilt Show (Sisters is a town in the area) in about 2011 maybe….and we spent time haunting quilt shops in the area!

Speaking of sisters and quilts….LOL….have you heard anything from Gunnar recently…..how is she doing

Yes, I have!  We had a long phone chat about a week ago.  She is doing well.  Has thought about moving closer to a bigger city but now is having second thoughts.  She is slowly trying to make friends up there.  Covid didn’t help in the socializing department, but she joined the quilt guild, so she’s met some of them.  They had a quilt show up there recently…and Carson City/Reno is a pretty big area for quilting really.  So life is pretty good overall.  I think she is adjusting.  It’s quite different from SoCal.

I am glad that she is going to give things more time before moving again.  I think her joining the quilt guild is a good move.  Hopefully, she soon will have lots of friends and maybe her own little quilting posse. LOL
