Luv your avatar, Luv!!

Thanks.....

It is also something I need to work on.....lol

That’s a good thing to do!  Helps with positivity.

Here’s a quick story.  Saturday was our craft guid and I take two ladies who are 91 years old.  So I dropped off the one who lives closest to the church and while I was inside, the other one who is much more mobile but has some issues with balance ended up falling while she was trying to go around the car to the front seat (I was driving!).  When I saw her she told me she wasn’t hurt but she was putting herself down for trying to do what she did.  We both thought we might have to call the paramedics but I suggested we just try to use the sliding door handle on the minivan and see if she could pull herself up while I tried to lift her from behind with my arms under her armpits.  Good think I thought about locking the door first!!!  LOL. She was able to get up, was not hurt (probably sore the next day), and she should not tell her daughter who is a control freak or she will never allow her to go out again!!

But the point of the story was that as we had just successfully gotten her up off the curb, a small white car with several young people in it randomly came around the corner (we were 3 houses from the 4-way stop) and the one in the passenger seat leaned out of the window as they slowed down and asked if we needed help!  No one was more surprised than I was, but I said to my friend, that there was an example of the goodness of perfect strangers.  I assume their intentions were good and they showed no malice, so I will chalk that up as an indicator that most people are still basically good.

I like this story, yes, there is a lot of good still left in the world. I am so glad that she wasn't hurt, that could have been bad, BUT in the end.....it turned out okay and that is what matters.

My cousin has MS and my other cousins daughter had MS and passed away in her 40’s because of complications from it.

My cousin like Selma didn’t realize what was wrong with her after she had her son till she was diagnosed with MS and her doctor told her that childbirth can cause it to be worse especially with multiple pregnancy’s

Oh wow?..how is your cousin now

She is having more issues than when she was younger but seems to be doing ok.

HOw old is she now?

OH MY!!!!!!

What are the first symptoms?

Some of the ones my cousin had were numbness in different parts of her body especially arms and legs, exhaustion, vision problems like double vision for my cousin. Oh and she had trouble walking. She was lucky that her case was not the very progressive one, her symptoms were slower at coming on.

Oh my........I have some of those issues at times.  Now my mind is going off the deep end. LOL......So glad for her that it wasn't very progressive.

I do too but I have enough to worry about.  From what my cousin told me the symptoms are so much different than normal fatigue and numbness.  My arm goes numb at night a lot and I am tired all the time.  Now I will have my own mind going off the deep end.

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Re: New Season, New Channel, New Era, DWTS 2022

Luv, my cousins first symptom if I remember correctly was vision problems.  Especially double vision to the point that she couldn’t drive or do hardly anything.

I am glad that it seems like she has had a lot of good years, again, so glad that it was slow in symptoms and progress.
