    Awww. Our high school doesn't have a marching band. I am hoping there will be one at some point soon, though. The middle school has an amazing music teacher, and the band is huge. Maybe the high school will have enough band students to start a marching band. I can't believe Little Bit will be in high school next year.
     

     
    I love the band and marching band especially. I wish they still had majorettes at the high school. We tried to get it started back when my daughter was there but there wasn’t anyone to coach them. They had plenty of girls that wanted to be on the team but it didn’t make it.

    Little Bit went to theater camp this summer and had a role in which she had to twirl a baton. I was never a majorette, but I took lessons from the majorettes for several years when I was in elementary school. I gave Little Bit a crash course, and she was able to make up a little routine.

    He was doing so well, but it looked like he forgot some parts

    Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.

    He and his long time wife are having problems too and are struggling to save their marriage so his mind might not be totally in the competition
