Kelly’s middle daughter who is 14 seems to show the most interest. She seems to really enjoy hand embroidery and does a pretty good job for a beginner. She made a little piece earlier this year for her other grandma who has cancer. It was a cancer symbol and around it it said “Cancer Survivor. It was her idea we framed it in a Hope and decorated it with some pink ribbon and a bow…and Grama Mary loved it! She the idea and drew it onto the fabric. From time to time all 3 of them have dabbled in it. I hae so many sewing machines, I hope each one of them will need or want one! That would be wonderful if one of your granddaughters would fall in love with your hobby.
AWE.........what a neat thing to do for Mary. It sounds so neat. I bet it is a treasure item. HOw is Mary doing? She is doing ok but her 2nd round of chemo only “lasted” 182 days. They want to do chemo again but not till after TG. We are all assuming this may well be the final holidays we may have, so all the kids and grands are coming in, etc. She is a very strong and God fearing lady so she will accept whatever comes in a gracious and matter of fact way. We can only pray for as little suffering as possible. She was 80 this past February.
Awwww…..sweet memories will be definitely made …glad everyone is going to be able to come in

Sounds like a nice family get together. I pray that it is a wonderful holiday for her (and everyone) with great memories. Hopefully, it will not be her last, but if you have good memories and time together.....well.....that helps a lot with the unknown and loss. HUGS............

It sounds like a fun experience 🙂🙂We already tried once….the former neighbor called her, but she also keeps brining it up because SIL really needs to get away. It is up in the mountains and should be quite lovely up there this time of year.
Fingers crossed that you can get her to go!!!!
It will really take her daughters INSISTING she go. She is too wrapped up with the grands who live with her, for crying out loud!!! Give yourselff a break, woman! They will be FINE!!! Not sure what she thinks she is going to miss!! Maybe a soccer game?
