Oh how fun!!!
It was amazing!!! And so worth the side trip…we got to take the baby with us too….oh and in Kansas City we went to eat bbq….wellllllll…..the plate had the sandwich (with sauce on) fries and pickles….sooo…I grab a pickle, pop it in my mouth and Lord have mercy…holy hot (spicy) pickle juice 😂🥵😂🤣….I started laughing, coughing, tearing up, sweating….it caught me off guard….LOL…my hubby then Oh so helpfully said eat some bread….so I grabbed some of the bun…did I mention it already had sauce on it….ummm….LOL…extremely hot sauce…LOL…I started laughing, coughing harder and trying to chug water….FINALLY catch my breath and THEN D decided to point at the sign on the table and helpfully say “well they have a sign saying the pickles are hot” 🤦♀️😂🥵🤦♀️😂🥵lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too funny. Glad you didn't choke to death on that hot pickle. LOL You know, I have never had BBQ in KC, but I hear that it is good. I bet you disagree with that statement. LOL!!!! How cool that was that the baby got to come with you. Did KK or did you take him to give the parents a bit of alone time?
LOL!!! The bbq was good once I knew to expect the heat….LOL!!!!! And KK had a dr appointment so it was just the baby with us….but the ranch was beautiful…and when we got to the restaurant as soon as they saw the baby they said “don’t worry if he makes a mess we own a broom”….LOL….then he was LOVING the biscuits and jam so when we went to leave Grandma asked if we could buy a small to go container of the jam for him to take home….they said sure….then brought out a big bag and said we made him a small snack for the road….and they wouldn’t let us pay them for it….his small snack…2 quarts of the jam and a dozen biscuits….it was sooo sweet!!! and I posted a video of the baby at the restaurant and Ree herself loved it!!!!

Was that the picture of him slurping up the biscuits and gravy and getting all messy? That was SO CUTE!!!!.. How nice of those people to make a snack for free for you. Gracious and giving people. I am so glad you ran into such wonderful people on your trip.
