I am so sorry to hear about your sister-in-laws mother's death. I will put her in my prayers. No matter how old you are, losing a parent is hard. HUGS
Yeah and her mom was only 67 ….this is the sis in law that adopted the girls so KK is traveling from Arkansas with her hubby and the baby tooWOW.........that is YOUNG.......so sorry for the family. Did KK get to know her? I mean, the distance, it could have been a bit hard to do. It is nice that she is traveling up to support everyone. Does she call your SIL "mom" ?
Yes to both….her mom lived in Jax but was originally from NC and wanted to be buried there….she’s been in the kids lives basically since my bro and SIL got married when Niecey was 10

HUGSMost boys are not too into “fashion” at his age!!! LOL. Granddaughters F & A both went to the prom last weekend!! THey clean up quite nicely!! Li’l one wanted to go but she only got to go to dinner with the lot of them before the dance!
Isn’t it amazing how grown up they can look when they’re dressed up??
Oh, yes….and A has just blossomed in HS!! Doing well academically, playing sports (sometime to her dismay (mom makes them do a sport after school!!), and just growing socially. The ADHD seems to be “learning up” (not the right words!) so school is clicking for her, which makes life in general much better.

We never had proms either at boarding school! The dances were awkward and we were assigned an “escort” from the military academy 40 miles away!! I was not amused, nor did I find it fun!!! We were required to go!! The boys came to our school!!
WOW............that would be awkward.

So that is the mother of your SIL in Jax, married to your bro, with baby (not any more!) B?? She was the other grandma to the 4 kids, right? So happy KK is able to come home for the services. Important to have closure.

That is wonderful that she was such a big part of her daughter/Son-law and Grand children's lives. It sounds like you and your family were close to her too.
