Because we know they knew each other but have not been seen to my "searching" or photographed but the one time coming out of a diner or someplace and he was walking in front of her with no connection between them!!  Sometime I think he likes to please people and feels the need to do for them...so it is just a thought, and puts the trip for me in a different light...but it is just a thought...

You are right about the need to please people -- just so he wants to please Meryl, I'm okay with it. Did you notice on the list of people (a few posts back) at the charity event that Maks name was on it, but DB's wasn't?

Are Meryl and Charlie going to Japan just for a one-day event? I wonder if it's worth the plane fare. Oh well, maybe they feel obligated to do it. I had written this on my calendar a while back as "Carnival on Ice" Japan; unconfirmed. I guess it's now confirmed. 
 

O.K. girls, WHO is our best sleuth? We have only 3 nights until DWTS starts, and I thought it would be interesting to know the romantic situation of each team. Married? Divorced? Engaged? Dating? Children?  After we get all the information, we can make a little note next to each person on our list. For example: Val (single) and Janel (boyfriend). What?!?! You don't have a list?! I printed one from somewhere. Any volunteers for this CIA job? I would do it myself but have to get busy with the list of Slavic names.

This comes under the heading of OUCH!  I had read on tumblr that there were rumors that chickie was a paid escort and the it was possible that she went as someone's mistress and Maks was her beard.  I thought, hmmmm, but didn't pay attention to it.  I figured I had trashed the girl enough.  But in my boredom while my computer was printing out some knitting patterns, I googled her name and asked if she was a paid escort.  Well, there are definitely items about it being true.  Pictures of her being on a private jet with 2 other girls and info about her jetting off to Miami and other places all the time.  There were even a couple of sites that appeared to be ways to contact services and I was afraid to click on them because I didn't want to start getting stuff I didn't want !<G>  This is really an interesting development.  Is it possible that Maks didn't know this?  of course it's always possible that it's not true.  Just something that gives you pause, and a possible reason why Maks looked so constipated in those pictures.

So far nothing has appeared in the rags in the US about them being at this event except that one article that listed him as a celeb at the event.  No pictures, nothing.  I think that even though we love Maks, he is not someone who triggers attention unless he's rumored with the diva or someone like her.  If someone was just following him and not any of the fan sites, they would never know that he went with chickie.  I wonder also if she thought she would get attention if she went with him.  I know I should drop this, but I think it's interesting.  I can't for the life of me imagine that Maks would really be serious about her.  I'm guessing that the Val/Z fan on tumblr was right, she will disappear quickly if he can't bring her money or attention.
