Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

Made it! I was trying to catch up on comments, but I gave up. April, how is everyone in FL doing?

Ain’t that the truth!

How are you tonite, CEK?  Did you get much rain from the last storm?

I am pretty good. Going to get the results on my MRI of my knee tomorrow. YUCK

No we didn’t get a lot of rain it was just a good rain not a total downpour.

How are you doing on the other side of the country….

I hope the MRI will offer some solutions for your knee.  One of my friends just had a hip replacement and another one is having one on the 10th!   I feel fortunate not to have experienced any of those things….at least so far!!  I’l be a pro by the time all my friends have had those surgeries!!  At least a pro at thinking I know something!!  LOL.

We are fine out here.  Nothing too exciting or crazy.  Our block hasn’t changed much over the years so we all know each other and look out for one another.  Weather is terrific right now.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Good. Little Bit just had her first dance class of the season, after having her sprained ankle.

we figured if we were all together we could keep each other from stressing to much....it's going to be a doozy

AMEN!!!  FEMA needs a makeover so no one should depend on that group!!

actually its going to sound a bit strange and not to defend fema  ...but it is totally unheard of for that area to have been hit this hard ....they are so far inland it should have died down significantly....so the way they would have to handle hurricanes of that devestation up there would be something they are total not use too..their usual mode of operation after a hurricane would be on flat land and with people who by the geography wouldn't be cut off and stranded...here in Fl we get devestated but we're not in the mountains so there is usually always a way out ...no mud slides or drop offs...but fema could use a LOT of improvement and has never been fast ...but FEMA should have been better prepared

Oh this was a repeat of my MRI the last one was in 2016 and a replacement then was the only thing that would completely take care of the issues.  I have put it off this long and the report they gave me didn’t look good because on all the finding it said “progression from 2016”. I don’t want the surgery but it is limiting me from what I want to do daily….I may be physically ready but emotionally I am not!

So glad she was able to get back.  I am glad her ankle is better!
