the oldest is my friends dad...he's 97The ol’ guy probably has a lot of good stories to tell! I have a friend who will be 99 in early February, sharp as a tack, lives alone in Leisure World, and has some great experiences to share!!
Oh wow....what is Leisure World???
Leisure World is kinda like The Villages but smaller….senior community, independent living only…all condo/apartment places you have to buy into. About 9,000 people live in the one near us. There is another larger one further into Orange County heading to San Diego.
I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship. Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

I think I agree with you April. He has not been very lucky in the partner department in past seasons.

Oh that sounds interesting. My SIL loves living in The Villages. She just sold her larger house and moved into a smaller one.

Oh, yes!!! They are much newer and bigger than what we have in this area. The Villages are the bomb!! LOLOLOL

Leisure World here was built in the early 1960’s!! They look like it too!!! LOL. But many people have expanded their units and done some very nite renovations. They can push out their living space to the edge of their patio area. Not everyone has done that but many have. They are all 2 bedroom, 1 bath.
