That seems weird!! We never get freezing temps here…except in the higher elevations. And we don’t have the warm oceans you have down there.

Our house is pretty much back to normal...the power company came and got the tree off the powerline and the one blocking my driveway my neighbors had mostly cleared before we got home because they know my hubby works the storms and wouldn't be home

I love teh stories of neighbors helping neighbors. Our church craft guild made about 25 or 30 lap quilts for charity. On Sunday we decided they should go to go somewhere in the devastated areas of the southeast that were hit by the hurricanes. It has been so heartwarming to see some of the TV coverage of people who have lost virtually everything…and see how humble the folks are who have helped those in the worst shape….and others along the way.
