Our house is pretty much back to normal...the power company came and got the tree off the powerline and the one blocking my driveway my neighbors had mostly cleared before we got home because they know my hubby works the storms and wouldn't be home

I love teh stories of neighbors helping neighbors.  Our church craft guild made about 25 or 30 lap quilts for charity.  On Sunday we decided they should go to go somewhere in the devastated areas of the southeast that were hit by the hurricanes.  It has been so heartwarming to see some of the TV coverage of people who have lost virtually everything…and see how humble the folks are who have helped those in the worst shape….and others along the way.

So happy you didn’t have much damage. Or loss.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

Funny you say that.  On our little cul-de-sac of about 8 houses, all of us except one have been here for no less than 30 years!!  We have been here for 50 years now!!!  I cannot believe it!!!

Yes….we will send them to one of our churches in the general area.  Hopefully they get to folks who will need and use them.  It is so very sad to see some of the areas.  I can only imagine how much worse it is to see it in person.
