I just miss them. How can they not miss each other?
There was a brief "deer in the headlights" moment during Janel's television interview in Hawaii. I believe she and the on air woman had an informal agreement that there would be no questions about relationships, are you dating anyone, rumors about romance resulting from the show, etc.
But at one point, the intereviewer says, "And Val.....(there's the look)....he and some of the others were here a few months ago..." They talk over each other...the woman trying to say how sweet he was, everybody loved him.
Janel saying that they all loved it in Hawaii, talked about it all the time. And she did not once look at the monitor where their dances were being shown.
I'll see if I can bring the interview over. Otherwise, it's just a very nice few minutes with a hometown girl back in Hawaii for a few days.

Do I like Payson? Not much.
This is a guy who announced their break-up on twitter. And started much of the mess. And now has the gall to announce on Facebook that he is in a relationship with Janel Parrish.
Fine. But it is his pathetic attempts to make $$ or elicit sympathy off the break-up that sort of had me puking. He put out these covers on youtube in the weeks following.
So I guess things will play out as they will. Certainly has been messy.
A part of me was even thinking that it could be to free Val up for the Season. If he and Janel are really not "a thing", then get the shippers (me) to finally bury it and have some enthusiasm for him and a new partner in Season 20. Without this turn of events, I was unsure of whether or not I wanted to even watch.

This fantastic / godawful tour is winding down!! I say that only because I want J and V in the same state.
They have migrated West of the Rockies...tomorrow night's performance is in Reno, the day after Las Vegas, the day after Phoenix. And Then They Are Back In California!!
Janel's throwbackThursday was DWTS related, curiously enough. Her picture with Jonathan Bennett was their first meeting at the GMA appearance when they were introduced to their dance pro partners.
He's not a love interest, just friend......you know.
And this is not J and V related, but a tweet exchange between J and Chris Brochu (actor, singer) must be very exciting for her and I hope there's a part for her in it.
