    Watching the skating special....

    I really loved "Say Something" that Charlie and Meryl did.  I thought it was a lot more emotional then some of their routines, well done to them and Sharna.

    Friendship is a priceless gift that can't be bought or sold, its value is far greater than a mountain made of gold.
    May this FriendSHIP always have wind in its sails and a sunrise on the horizon.

    Just finished watching the re-broadcast of the skating/gymnastics show. It was good but needed more Meryl and Charlie. LOL  I loved seeing Kurt (he is a favorite of mine), Cody singing was okay (not a fan girl) and the rest.  I really like that girl who skated with a shawl or scarf.  I didn't know any of the gymnasts that performed, which made a lot of the show so, so for me.  I can't wait to see the "Love on Ice" and especially "Shall we Dance on Ice".  I will record that one. LOL  

    Booky, did you see "Love on Ice" when it first aired on TV?  Was it good?  Hey......didn't you go see a show "live"? Is it one that will be on TV? How was it? What an experience that must have been.

    Okay, going to run.....it is beautiful here......going to go out and enjoy the sun before it goes down. lol Hope to see you all later.

    I am so glad you brought this to our attention, View.  What a marvelous and exciting year it has been!  We've all been blessed (although sometimes stressed!  LOL) to have *met* to share our lives and interests with each other.....all thanks to Meryl, Charlie, and Maks!!

    Last weekend while in the park with my grandkids  I was approached by a young woman who came up and said my name in a questioning way.  I looked at her and immediately recognized her as a student at our local HS who graduated in 2000.  I had not seen her in 7 years when I attended the funeral for her mother, who died unexpectedly.  We had a wonderful visit for more than an hour while my grandchildren and her children played in the park which was not even in the same city SHE lives in or that close by.

    Why do I mention this?  Because I left the park that day with a wonder similar to what you expressed above.  I felt myself saying, "WOW!  I just had a really great renewal of a relationship.  How was it that we happened to be in the same place at the same time?  Is there more to this story yet to come?"

    We just don't know who will come into our lives to enrich us...to make us appreciate what life is about...so that we can hopefully do good to and for others...to live in the moment and share love, life, and laughter.

    I can ask the same about our sisterhood.  It is and has been such a blessing to have met all of you.  I've said it before, and will likely say it again, but I believe it is important to let others know when they are valued by others.  There IS a reason! 

    Thanks to each of you for being here!  And to those who are not here, PLEASE come back!  We love you!!

    I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. Meryl

    Hey, Luv....you were online when I read this post but got off by the time I signed on and started to type!!  Wanted to say *hi*--and am watching the special also while doing other stuff (even more than just posting here!).  Part of my A.D.D. sometimes---doing too many things at once!! LOL  LOL

    I also loved C&M's dance to "Say Something".  Wasn't sure if that was the one that Sharna choreographed, but now you've confirmed it!!!   Beautiful work they all did on it.

We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer.
