And will it be on GMA like last season?” I believe feb 9

If Louis is right, tomorrow they announce the pros. At least a couple of them are still on tour though.

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

BTW, someone who attended the show in Vegas, said Keo and Emma do seem fond of each other...holding hands.  But it could be nothing.  They're all kind of like that.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. The Fedor connection has been difficult to reconcile with the touchy-feeliness between MnM.  I suspect that it stems from a deep mutual understanding.  We know of Meryl's dyslexia and that the dyslexic brain is 'wired' differently  (my eldest is dyslexic too btw).  Looking at what has come across Maks' lip over time, the insult of Len, that it is 'his' show, the remark to Karina about faking an orgasm...... the list goes on.... he has oftentimes shown to be the square peg, not fitting in round hole.  So my theory is that they both recognise in each other that they stand out in some way and can relate to the difficulties thus experienced.  Remember, Meryl was thought to not be able to emote sufficiently on the ice, while Maks was stuck with the bad-boy-image.  I think their bond stems from having helped each other to overcome what others perceived as their weeknesses/shortcomings and thus proven their critics wrong.

Interesting comments, Gabriele.  My brother has dyslexia as well as our oldest granddaughter so it's something not unfamiliar....and, as you know, there are therapies that help.  Both my brother and granddaughter can't spell worth sour apples but, amazingly, my brother now reads books aloud to the residents of the home where our mother lives---something I would never have expected he would be able to do when we were growing up or even when we were younger adults.  The computer has really helped him conquer things that were difficult for him.

I would disagree, however, to some extent that MnM's connection grew from helping each other overcome any weaknesses or shortcomings.  I think the chemistry was there pretty much from the initial meeting--both have said that.  Maks also said, "She lets me be me.  We understand each other."  He went on to say that was something that two people just sometimes "have" with each other---and it was there with the two of them....a mutual connection.

I also think it was a different type of connection not founded on anything tangible because Maks wasn't even aware of Meryl's dyslexia until something like the 7th or 8th week of the show.  There is an interview in which the interviewer asked Meryl about it and Maks was completely taken aback.  She doesn't seem to talk about it at all.  I get the impression that she really doesn't want other people to even know about it.  She probably doesn't want to ever use it as an excuse or have others attribute any failure to it.  I can totally understand that.  Overcoming dyslexia may well be one of the reasons she is such an over-achiever.  Not a bad thing....just the way she copes.

This is all just for whatever it's worth based on what I've seen and read so I'm certainly no expert.  Just "watching the movie" as an interested observer..
