I spent (wasted?) some time this afternoon looking at videos of Maks and Karina, Maks and Peta, etc. and something just struck me about them. I like the Maks we came to know on Season 18 so much better than the Maks displayed in his interactions with others, even when he was being nice. His attitude was that some things just don't work out, but it's okay because they are still friends and still like each other. He seemed somewhat flippant when talking about the breaking of his engagement with Karina.. Some of them talked about their breakups, others about Forever Tango, etc. He seems so much more sincere now and more mature (well, he is older). Has anyone else done this and felt that he is a different Maks now? If he and Peta become engaged, I'll have to take this all back!!!

Thanks for bringing this over. I had read it on tumblr -- maksylmyheart. Had to laugh when Charlie said, "It's all downhill from here".
Yes....and I loved when Meryl was asked:
Are you still in touch with Maks?
MD: Yeah! Of course.
So there you are.....another crumb....for whatever it may or may not mean. Of course, I doubt she would have said no!!! LOL She could have chosen other words....such as "now and then" or "sometimes"...but she aid "of course"!I loved that too! Didn't mention it because I wanted to see if anyone else would!!
that was cute the way she said it....LOL...like it should be obvious
