Does anyone remember Red Skelton...one of the best, the tv offerings of today pale in comparison..  Every kid should see this video and probably a lot of adults too. Aired in 1969,

I was just going to post something on the other thread....What in the World!!!  to say it nicely.  Are the ramifications of THIS going to be?

Can you see all the interactions, showing of support, attendance at the FTR Performances this almost has to lead to?

Are the Producers shippers?

Are they evil and cruel?

View.....I don't even know what to say!!! WTF??????????

I enjoyed seeing this.  Thanks for bringing it over.

Evening everyone...just wanted to stop in before supper and see how things are going today...I may be on or not...watching the Oscars with my daughter and Downton Abbey comes in tonight too!

Hope you all are having a good Sunday...it has been in the 50's today here but they are calling for snow tomorrow with a return of the cold temps...and I am not excited about that either!!!!

Ah, it is. It's the first day of autumn! A time for hot chocolatety mornings, and toasting marshmallow evenings, as best of all, leaping into *leaves*!

This weather is killing me CEK. We got about seven inches of snow yesterday. Double yuk. A lot of melting today but it's going to refreeze tonight. Wind e r if the kids will finally have school?  They only had a half day for all of last week.

Re: The Perfect Ten! And Twentieth Season of DWTS

Thanks for the Red Skelton video, eastcoast.  I remember him and his show.  My dad was a big fan of it, and we watched every week.  Well, back in those days - with so few choices - families did that a lot more than now.

I wanted to say I like somany things you post - but either see them while just quickly lurking to catch up, or they don't really require comment...just rumination!   So keep it up.  I got a kick out of your tulips along the walkway because when I was posting photos first thing in the morning...I googled "flowers in the snow" - and that was one of the photos....and also jetmama, there must be an afghan pattern that is "flowers in the snow"  because a few pictures of crocheted afghans came up, too.

I was happy to see Meryl's "favorite" to Janel's photo. ..apparently Janel and her sister are going away to some place tropical in a few days.

Thanks View, I try not to be one dimensional and only post M&M related things, especially because most of the time there is nothing to post!  The end of the Red Skelton video resonated with me, we are a country that has sold out our morals in many ways. I am glad that I am not raising kids these days, there is so much out there that could hurt them, you have to be a full time parental cop.

I see it with my grandkids, they aren't allowed to use google, their time on the computer and the tv is limited, housework is to be part of their everyday life routine (yay) and among other things, they must read before bed.  But even with all that, the very things parents are attempting to safeguard their kids from, the kids on the street do and they are only too happy to share.  I guess that has always been the case though.  Even with all of the advantages these kids have today, being a parent is harder than ever.  I applaud the young mom's on this board, it is a tough, tough job,.
