    Okay logged in just to list a pet peeve.....LOL.  why is Alexis calling Beckett "Beckett" instead of Kate?  It sounds strange and weird.  She is her step mother after all.  Okay, now I can enjoy the show now that that's off my chest.lol

    First, I certainly agree that Lady Gaga was a surprise and did a very good jobI sining the "Sound of Music" medly.  But I also must confess that for me this was, in part, because I was so surprised. However, both before I heard her sing and after I heard her sing, I could not help but wonder why Lady Gaga and not Audra McDonald was the one invited to sing this medly.  Audra has one of the most glorious voices on Broadway and has won a history making 6 Tony awards.   I have read many superlatives about Lady Gaga today, but she does not begin to be in the same class as either Julie or Audra.  Perhaps, Audra was not available.  Like Julie  Andrews was in her day, Audra today is a classy, one of a kind woman and is also an astonishing actress on stage and on TV.  If you have not heard Audra, here is an Andrew Lloyd Webber trio of leading ladies singing three of his love songs as soloists and as a trio.  Audra is the first singer.  Enjoy.
    Audra was also in the live TV version of most recent production of "Sound of Music", the one in which Carrie Underwood played Maria.

    LOL....well Castle still calls her Beckett alot too.....LOL....and she still calls him Castle......so maybe the last name thing is just their thing....LOL
