Loved playing Jacks...and I was quite good! LOLMe, too! I can remember playing them at school, sitting outside on a stoop. This was during lunch hour after we had eaten.
Jacks and jump ropes were two of my favorite pastimes through elementary school. I was good at both....oh--and pickup stix!!

Afternoon everyone...I have returned from my doctor appointment and I am pleased for now...I liked the doctor a lot. He was easy to talk to and had a sense of humor to boot!!!
After looking at the x-rays from last April and the ones from last month he agreed that the fracture was in fact greater now. He said that I should or it would have been best to have had an x-ray about a month from my initial fall that way we could have seen if the larger fracture was shortly after or if it was gradually getting larger....if it was after the fall it could have healed this way but if it is getting larger still then that could indicate that it is now completely healed. So he is having me to get an MRI of my upper and lower spine...that way he can tell for sure if it is healed or not.
He was telling me the procedures that are used for correcting this type of fracture which is...they insert a needle into the fracture and inject an acrylic bone cement which stregnthens the fracture from further damage...I told him...lets not go there right now!!!! LOL
I did tell him that I need to be OK for our August trip to Disney World...LOL
So that is my report for now until I get the MIR...the hospital will call me to schedule that soon I hope!!!!
Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and concern...You all are the best group of friends in the world!!!!
Love you all...
CEK, I know someone who had the "cement" in the back--and it was a huge success! Not particularly invasive either.
So happy you liked the doc and that you are getting the MRI!!! HOORAY!
Hugs and prayers for a successful outcome.

A Good Thursday Morning to you all...The sun is shining but it is only in the 40's...I guess our little taste of the warmth of spring is gone for a while yet again...
Hope all of you had a good night....
April, we are still here holding your hand tightly...my warmest hugs and prayers are with you again today.
Checking out the news...
