Re: The Perfect Ten! And Twentieth Season of DWTS

It's still morning out here in the west....so Good Morning or Good Afternoon, Sisters!  Hope all is well with everyone.

Thinking of your daughter and your family, April.  Hoping that you are getting some answers and finding the way forward.  Love you and miss your cheeriness.  Stay strong....know we are with you in the battle.

I absolutely love him, and he’s an incredible person. We have this friendship that I have no doubt in my mind is a life-long friendship.  Getting a chance to know him away from training for Dancing With the Stars, I think we've gotten a chance to know each other in a different way, which of course just makes you closer. And a few more....

Beautiful pictures of Meryl. Charlie looks good too.

Note Meryl is wearing the "ring-gate" ring!!!  It is very visible in the champaign toast photo where she is raising her glass.  I notice when she puts her hands together in front of her body, she tends to cover it with her left hand.

Love the photo, EC.  Your daughter is gorgeous!

Here is a pic of my "tuxedo" dog (moose!)

His mama was a very light yellow Lab, daddy was a full blooded golden retriever.  This guy is a complete throw-back to the St. John's water dog, precursor to the Labrador retriever, which sported tuxedo markings.  Last one died in about 1979.  Typical markings are white chest, nose, and on all 4 paws.  Our dog also has a white arrowhead on the top of his shoulders.  He is now 3-1/2 years old, 112 lbs., and the only tipoff that he is not 100% lab is that he has a "fringe" on the underside of his tail, which would have come through the golden daddy as labs have very short hair on their tails.

What a beautiful dog.  How is his temperment?  I was attacked as a child by a neighbor's dog and consequently never got over my fear of dogs.  My sister had a cocker spaniel who bit my daughter on the lip so our history with dogs is not favorable.  However, my other sister had a cockapoo (sp?) named Kirby who I was really fond of surprisingly.  Very mild mannered but an unrelenting beggar for table food.

Re: The Perfect Ten! And Twentieth Season of DWTS

I think I have been logged on for quite some time...but grandson has been using computer for school work

I wanted to post a couple of things.  A week or so ago, I read an opinion by someone who had watched Meryl on the Detroit morning shows. She commented (viewer) that she thought Meryl had had the bump taken out of her nose...that from the side there was something different, softer about her profile.

Now from these recent pictures I'll say, absolutely she has had it corrected.  I speak as someone who years ago had a deviated septum straightened.  It didn't appear unusual on the outside, but inside, at the base the septum had a little S curve buckle to it that hampered my breathing.  It's a "no big deal" kind of procedure. For some that "deviation" is more noticeable in their appearance than mine was.  I'm sure Meryl has had that done.
