Hi Sisters! 
Just short - Saturday is 30 mins old here. Waiting for news from April, Jet.  April, your girl and you are in my thoughts and like in the old days of SS Maksyl, I am nightwatch, sending you much love and strength.  It was my birthday on Friday.  I had a quiet few enjoyable drinks while I watched the live rehearsal (or as much as I could handle...) of Val, Derek and Witney.   Have to agree with one sister up-thread (sorry, forgot who commented) who said that these weren't doing Val a favour.  That's a very diplomatic and tactful way of putting.  I was more wondering, if Rumer will go far on the sympathy vote.  Yes, that's how bad it was imo.   :/

Thanks to each of you....what an amazing group we have here. I am increasingly touched by the affinity and closeness we have come to have over these past months. My thanks to each of you as well for your support now and in the past. For whatever reason, knowing how difficult this is for April is extremely difficult for me. But I know she is strong and cheerful, so I know she will get through it. It is my own feeling of uselessness--an inability to help--that is frustrating. Knowing that all of you are also with her is comforting and reassuring.

There is plenty to be hopeful for. Our end game is to help the family win the battle. Let us joyfully soldier on with them sharing faith, hope, and love.

Yes, gabriele...Happy Birthday.  Thanks for keeping the night watch.  I laughed out loud at the "sympathy vote"  for Rumer.  For being Val's partner.   LOL!  She may have expected to see the sweeter, handsomer Val we saw last season...and to me, that was a One Time Thing.  They'll be great, though.  More than great.  They have some stiff competition, no doubt.

I read the email from april.   And of course we will keep things confidential.  I did a little reading about same...and it seems there are so many types lumped together under that term - that until they know more, we don't know much.

I will say that my son's best friend in middle school was diagnosed with that "term" and survived, thrived, and is doing well these many years later.

Hour by hour, day by day, as the weeks and months go by...you and your life-changing challenge will not be far from our hearts, April.
