Ah yes, my parents, fun people, my dad loved to dance, my mom liked to play cards with their friends and with the grandkids, she was a big kid herself. Had a sweet tooth like I haven't seen the likes of until the granddaughter came along 8 years ago. Big time sweet tooth, both of them. Miss them every day and wished they could have lived long enough to see that the granddaughter has my mom's sweet tooth and the grandson walks just like my dad. Amazing.
You are so fortunate to have had such wonderful parents, and it is almost always sad when children don't have grandparents around. My paternal grandfather died 10 years before I was born, so I know what you mean.

Do most of you know that RedFoo is Barry Gordy's (Motown) son?

What food did you serve, and did they like everything?

Thought, I had seen somewhere that Nastia did not want to partner with Val. Forgot where it was. Is this just gossip/speculation or is she in fact on record (live rehearsals??) for that. Just wondering.

Yes, but learned that only recently. I googled his mother but didn't recognize her name.

Thumbs up east, ^^^ Cute.
Have y'all seen this video of the little 7 year old's heartbreak when Zendaya didn't win her Season with Val?
I saw it on a janelskiy twitter page. It had been sent to Val from the mother. I think his comment was something like, "See what y'all did?" ...we must learn not to take things to heart quite this much.
Poor kid, I too use to cry over TV programs when I was younger..........AND if Meryl hadn't of won her season, I would have been very upset and probably posted some comments over at ABC.......BUT, that would be me posting something in public. For her mother to post this on the internet is bad IMO. What was a "private" moment is now being viewed by people who will probably make bad remarks, which she will see and then that will make her feel "stupid" for caring and showing emotion for something. I just think her mother doing this was wrong. (am I out of line here?)
Not at all, I think it was very inappropriate to post this and I have to ask myself how did this benefit this child? Have to wonder what the motive was behind this.
To be honest, I'm not going to watch this. I get the gist of it through your comments. Really, wouldn't even filming your child be the last thing on your mind, if you see her in distress (as I gather from what everyone has been saying). .....
