Hello everyone....well yesterday was a great day, for more reasons then one.  However, like CEK, I need to be a good girl and get some things done today.  I will probably be bad and check the board.... BUT, I am going to try and stay on task today. lol

HOpe you all have a great day.....did see that charmm was feeling bad about all of the time she "wasted" making the videos of MnM...wish she knew that they were wonderful and NOT a waste....

Oh, gosh, NO.   I will see if I can leave her a message to that effect.

Would you call the time that the makers, producers, actors put into this  -  wasted?  Just because G and F were not a "thing".  We have all enjoyed the beauty and romance of her fanvids.




 

I agree with you 100 %.  Thise videos that charmedmm created brought joy and hapiness to a multitude of people including me.  Maks may be on the tip of my nose right now but that magic that he and Meryl created on the dance floor is undeniable.  A treat for many generations to come.

I've been attending St. Joseph's Tables all my life and it is pretty ethnic.  Ours always included lentil soup, minestrone soup, peas and macaroni, artichokes (stuffed with parmesan cheese and italian bread crumbs) or roasted artichokes, fried and battered asparagus, cauliflower, squash, broccoli and then roasted peppers and veggies, steamed veggies with parm cheese grated on top. Always on the table were manicotti stuffed with ricotta cheese, deviled eggs, spinach salad with mushrooms, baked ziti, cheese ravioli, an assortment of olives, fave beans and cheeses, homemade  St. Joseph bread with bowls of olive oil and crushed garlic and red pepper flakes for dipping. Not to mention eggplant parm, lasagna and stuffed shells.  There were fennel bulbs sliced up and presented on the table too, these were important to cleanse the palate between courses.

If you were still hungry, there is the dessert table which rivaled the food table.   Pastries of every kind and zeppoli, sphynge, strufoli, cannoli, cream puffs, brownies, cakes, lemon bars, fig bars, strawberry rhubarb pies, cupcakes, fudge, Italian cookies (probably about 10 varities) pizzelle cookies.  This is what I can remember off the top of my head. 
Of course there was wine of all kinds, beer, whiskry, coffee and pop for the little ones.
