I do remember this...what I don't understand is the weight issues of today's children as opposed to our generation. Being a little heavy was the exception.

We were never still though, We were running around outside, chasing each other, playing tag, hide and seek and walking or riding our bikes everywhere. Sitting in front of the tv for hours was not an option and anyway, there was nothing on to watch back then. We had three channels, all in black and white and no remote control. No computers, no cell phones, just transistor radios and if you wanted to talk to your friends, you walked over to their houses. Very different times.

I'll be back on later this evening but ........WE MADE IT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .....she will continue to have chemo twice a week and home health nurses to visit daily to monitor her picc line for awhile but it is sooooooooo good to be home!!!!!!!!!
