PureDWTS Exclusive: What Sharna Burgess Has Learned From Noah Galloway, Dance Info, Results Show Teasers, And More
[quote888]Noah has shown me That as human beings we are capable of anything. We are designed to fall and get back up, and that even when we break we can bounce. ~ Sharna Burgess on Noah Galloway[/quote888]
It seems with every couple who is paired up on Dancing With The Stars, we learn something special from them. Each and every journey is so unique or inspirational in some way. The same is true for the couples themselves. In a new interview with Sharna Burgess, she tells us what she’s learned in knowing her Dancing With The Stars Season 20 partner Noah Galloway. She also takes us on their journey from day 1 and how Noah has improved and gained more confidence learning how to dance. She mentioned how Amy Purdy has helped them as well. Sharna also gives us some hints about next week’s dances and what we can expect of the coming Results shows as we head into the end of season. Read on for more! THANK YOU so much, Sharna! Here’s to #TeamShway!
1. Hi Miss Sharna!! How have you been? It’s so great talking with you again. The last time we visited, you were getting ready for the first week of DWTS with Noah Galloway. Looking back at the season since that time, how do you think Noah has improved as a dancer?
Hi lovely! I can’t believe it’s week 8 already, this season has gone so fast and OMG we made it this far!!!!! Not only has Noah made it beyond his expectations, he also has the most watched dance in DWTS history…. That still blows my mind.
Through out the season Noah has improved in leaps and bounds in some areas, and then it’s baby steps in others. Developing performance quality ain’t easy for someone who isn’t naturally a spotlight lover. Noah is by no means a wall flower, his larger than life, funny, sweet and so confident that I forget he’ missing 2 limbs. On the flip side when it comes to dancing we go back to square one! Putting one foot In front of the other just isn’t that easy for him, and then adding in timing and direction changes it can all become very overwhelming. He tends to focus on just making the physical work, forgetting that the emotional is what makes dance special. Through out the last 10 weeks I have seen him grow beyond all of that. Even Noah says himself that he has so much more confidence moving on his prosthetic leg now since his been dancing. The emotional part is what we are still working very hard on. I mean… Go figure it was the pimp character he would connect to most!!! Lol
2. Noah was channeling “his inner Pimp” and you “your inner Tina Turner'(I almost didn’t recognize you! Lol) for last week’s dance! It was brilliant and your best choreographed and most entertaining piece to date in my opinion. Noah seems to have more confidence. What do you think has helped to get you to a new level and do you think having Amy Purdy coming to rehearsals helped?
Ah thank you love!!! It was soooo much fun and I kinda wish that was my hair forever lol. I’m the queen of wigs this season between Jasmin and my fro!
Noah has gained confidence by being able to prove to himself week after week that his capable of incredible things. Always at the start of the week he’s not sure about the movement, but he understands the process now. He knows sometime on Friday the light bulb clicks on and it all makes sense… Although there have been weeks where it wasn’t until Sunday!!! (Cue Sharna meltdown) Through the weeks there become movements that are similar just with a different feel so I try to do at least part of the routine with things his can relate to, then the rest with new elements. Telespins are something we have used a lot, (and I’m now trying to stay away from) mainly because Noah can’t turn on his own very well, and not at all on his left foot, there’s nowhere to generate power from, but if I’m helping him, he can gain speed.
Amy coming in was wonderful for Noah.
They are unique in this competition in their experiences, they have to over come so much more than anyone else, physically AND emotionally. Every partnership needs trust, but in this situation it’s imperative that they have confidence in the person teaching them to move on their prosthetics in a completely different way. Quite literally making history, with the whole country watching. Wanna talk about pressure?!? These two are physical in life, over coming obstacles, climbing mountains and skiing down them better than most who have all their limbs, can you imagine how they feel stepping into a world where physically it’s impossible to do what their competitors are? Yet they are competitive by nature and want so badly to prove everyone wrong, to show that the impossible is possible. (Excuse me while I get emotional…) They are amazing. And it was a gift they got to talk about their shared experiences, I think it helped Noah to know everything his going through is expected, and that its all worth it.
3. What have you learned the most from knowing and being partnered with Noah Galloway?
Noah has shown me That as human beings we are capable of anything. We are designed to fall and get back up, and that even when we break we can bounce. He is an example of having the ground pulled out from underneath you, your heart ripped out of your chest and your dreams taken away from you. Yet his beautiful, positive, vibrant, and using what could have destroyed him to help and inspire other people every day. To use Bruno’s words, he is a modern day super hero, and I am in awe of him. Through him, I’ve realized even more of what I am capable of, as an artist, and as a human being. (Just don’t tell him I said that )
4. Any teaser hints on next week’s two dances? How about your costumes?
Well our tango is being left to Americas choice which it seems a lot of people want to see white!? I didn’t expect that at all, but I really love it!!
The trio salsa with Emma is going to be hot sexy and pink for the girls, but Noah will be a darker purple with hopefully some leather somewhere…
5. With the Results Shows returning for the next three weeks, what can we expect? Will there be some pro numbers or any older pros returning to dance since it’s the 10th Anniversary?
I am sure it’s going to be packed with amazing stuff, lots of group numbers, troupe performances and artist performances!! I know there’s An awesome girls number coming up which you will love!! We shot some green screen stuff For it the other day and it was so fun!!
The 10th anniversary episode already happened so I’m not entirely sure if any of our past pros will be back again.6. Thanks Sharna!! We can’t wait to see you and Noah hit the dance floor again on Monday! Give Noah our love too. Go out there and kill it again!!! #YouveGotThis
No problem honey!! It’s always wonderful chatting with you. Thank you to all of you at Pure and all of our #teamshway supporters, I cannot believe we are here about to try and make that final!! What a journey, and what an amazing season it has been. You guys have helped keep us here, Noah and I can’t tell you how much we appreciate every single vote, tweet and love you give us!!

WTS Season 21 Watch Out: Ramona Singer Wants To Be On Dancing With The Stars
Interesting. We might want to put this one on watch out being People is making a big deal about it?
[quote888]“I love to dance,” Singer tells PEOPLE. “It’s something I have enjoyed for many years and always have. I used to dance in clubs until like 3 in the morning and I didn’t care if I had a date or not, I would just dance by myself.
”While the 57-year-old admits she’s not sure how many rounds she would make it through on ABC’s hit show, Singer already has her partner picked out.
“Val Chmerkovskiy,” she says. “He can lift me up and throw me around.”
And now that the recently single reality star is getting back into the dating scene, there would be plenty of perks if she snagged a coveted spot.
“It would be a wonderful experience,” says Singer. “I find dancing very sensual, plus I could learn some new moves.”
The Real Housewives of New York City=22px airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
For more on Ramona Singer's single life, pick up this week's issue of=22px PEOPLE,on newsstands Friday

“Episode 2008″ — The six remaining couples on “Dancing with the Stars” will dance to a song and dance style voted on by viewers for “AMERICA’S CHOICE” night on MONDAY, MAY 4 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET). America has creative control of the couples’ first dance, asking fans throughout the week via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for their input on wardrobe, set design and visual effects. For the trio dance, couples had the opportunity to pick an eliminated pro or troupe member to enhance their performance and highlight the strengths of each star. The trio dance styles include the Jive, Paso Doble, Samba and Salsa. At the end of the night, two couples will be eliminated at the end of the night and four couples will move on to the semi-finals.
The “Trio Groups” are:

Nastia Liukin, Derek Hough and Sasha Farber

The night kicks-off with a special contemporary dance performance by Travis Wall’s Shaping Sound, featuring Maddie Ziegler and DWTS dancers Allison Holker and Jenna Johnson. Later in the night, Josh Groban will sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and pop star Carly Rae Jepsen will perform her hit single “I Really Like You.” Dance Center is back with Len Goodman and Jerry Rice and Kenny Mayne.
