I think it is OK.  I don't think it gives her an advantage....I would say slight disadvantage because she had to get used to a whole new partner midway through while everyone got to keep the same partner that they have been dancing with all season.  

Think about it this way - I think the majority of you are Rumer and Val fans....if Val was sort of hurt, would you want to see him back out of the competition or dance what he could with Rumer?

 
That's a tough one.....It should be the same for everyone in that situation, so I presume the partner must have some say in what they would want their role to be.

I had not heard that their divorce was final...I am sure there will be a lot of things to go over with him as wealthy and being married for as long as they were...

Hmmmmmmm.......you have a really good point Carrie.......I hadn't thought of it that way  this is why I wanted to get some opinions of the situation because it gives me different ways to think of things

Wow everyone but Val and Rumer got perfect scores....that is interesting!!!
