Here's something....

At my auntie's 90th ...  two friends of hers in their 80's ...  so I bring up DWTS with them.  Yes, they all 3 are watching this season.  Do like Derek, as they usually do.  Noah, of course.  We chat about the others pairs.

So, are you voting? I ask them.    

Noooooo, noo.  I never vote.  Maybe one year I did.  (Called the phone number for their favorite.  One time)

So.  Gosh.  It's really so confusing to me.  Who watches.  Who really votes.  No wonder that some years the winner is such a surprise.

Hi everyone!  I woke up late this morning because the thunderstorms we had last night here in South Texas kept me up most of the night.  Lots of thunder and lightening that seemed to go on forever, but I'm very grateful we didn't get tornados like the ones that hit North Texas.  Unfortunately, there were some areas that got flooded and I feel so badly for the folks there who have quite a mess to clean up.  Those are areas that didn't have good drainage systems in place, and we got pounded with heavy rain.

On to DWTS...what a semi-finals show that turned out to be!  I thought everyone did great a great job.  I've watched every season of this show, and this is the first time I have felt that I would be satisfied with any of the four semi-finalists winning the mirrorball trophy.  However, when it came to voting, I decided to give all of my votes to Nastia and Derek.  If I was voting for the pro I liked the best, I would've given my votes to Val and Rumer, but I've always thought this show should be about the celeb you liked the best, and for me, that's Nastia.  That waltz she danced with Derek and Len just touched my heart and sealed the deal for me.  I can't wait to see what happens tonight!
