to clear up an open question earlier... Yes Kym said that she is going back to Australia to be a judge.,, She should be out as a pro in the US for the next season...
Is this true??? Has anyone else heard this???? I hope not!!!!
Good morning, CEK... I read somewhere quite a while ago - a person said they thought Kym had two years to go on her contract. Someone who seemed to know "stuff" said performing on this past livetour and now this season of the show would fulfill her contract.
But I do like her....maybe she has "other" things she'd love to do. I read once that she can't imagine not being a mother.

Interesting interview with Derek and Nastia byJCRubio. The whole thing was good, but it interested me that Derek would say that coming in 4th....is pretty sweet.

What I was saying is that I kind of hate to interject this negativity, but there is a lot of heat directed at Val for his "uninteresting" comment. I didn't think it was SO bad....but why say anything derogatory about your fellow contestants and pros??
Yes, why say anything derogatory when the whole point of the segment was to be complimentary towards your competitors. It's especially foolhardy when you know there's a chance your remarks might make it on the air!
Hi Booky. I believe the whole point of the segment was to point out the other competitors strengths and weaknesses. It is my belief that Val was saying that Nastia and Derek were too perfect and that would be uninteresting to viewers because the viewers like drama and hardship. It was edited to sound like Val was saying that they were not interesting. We all know how this show can manipulate things to sound a certain way. Sad really.
Hi Cassidy. I didn't realize they were asked by the producers to point out weaknesses. It surprises me that they would do that and then turn around and use it against one of the pros, in this case Val. I don't think that was ever done before in previous seasons. Well, this certainly explains Val's comment.
I hope my own comments about Val didn't offend you, Cassidy. I just couldn't understand why Val would say something negative about one of his competitors when he's so close to winning this thing. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
