Good Evening Sisters. I know, I know. It has been a long time since I have posted much, and I never was one of us who posted a lot. But I have to post tonight because in going back over posts and playing catch up, I have discovered that East mentioned my birthday on May 13 and Lov baked some beautiful cakes. So I will not allow any more time to pass without saying thank you for remembering and thank you for the cakes. I turned 74---still cannot believe that I am this old. And my younger son took me out to dinner in Chicago on Monday evening at a wonderful restaurant called the Girl and the Goat. I will be celebrating later with my older son and his family. In late May I fly to DC and will celebrate with my daughter, her hubby and three girls---the three girls in the throwback picture I posted last week.
April, CEK, Cassidy, and View---While I have done little to no posting, I have remembered all of you and continued to pray for you and for your loved ones. All, it seems, are doing better. Prayers will continue.
In another post I will try to bring you all up to date on the Beloved Community Potluck Dinners and to do so without being too long winded. We had one on April 19--our third--and our fourth on this coming Sunday, May 17. Our fifth one is scheduled for June 21st. And in a week or so we should have dates for July and August. A Facebook friend from Kenya, a young man just a year older than my younger son and Maks, has started Beloved Community Potluck Dinners in his hometown. He is the pastor of a church that lost several members in the school massacre that occurred two or three months ago and made international headlines.

Good evening KOS!!!
Don't ever apologize for being long winded....what a slow board we have mid-week lately. It's always so nice to hear what you are up to.
I wish we could all descend upon your 'blessed community' and attend some functions with you.
You make 74 sound very fun, active, and productive.

Good Night CEK and anyone else who is out there. Off to Pittsburgh tomorrow for the granddaughters college graduation festivities. Hard to believe my little girl is graduating college and will start grad school in August. She is so dear to me and I love her so much but I would love to turn the clock back to when she was little and could sit on my lap! Hard to let go.
Congratulations to your daughter Eastcoast...It is such an acomplishment...We are proud of her...

That makes me so excited. I can’t get the feed to work now. It was working earlier, but no luck now….and now is when I want to watch, not earlier.
