I read the CNN article on the grandmother and her multiple births... Still shaking my head. Single. In vitro with donated fertilized eggs.
I can't imagine why a woman her age would want to have babies, especially when she's already got a brood. It boggles the mind.

From tumblr....Meryl taking the picture, dark haired guy beside her. (Fedor, presumably)
I hadn't even noticed the reflections on the pot until I saw this blown up picture. That is definitely Fedor she's with.

I'm trying to stay put but it isn't easy. I do go out each day for a short ride because if I were stuck in this house all day, I would go crazy. Looks like I am going to have to send the husband to the store with a list. Not looking forward to that. He will call me from the store to ask (again) how to pick out a good bunch of broccoli. Grrr...stupid knee.
Oh Eastcoast....that is so much like me...When I was not going anywhere at all (don't go much now maybe once a week) hubby was doing all the shopping for me...I would make him a list and at times cut the tops off boxes or copy what it was I wanted of the computer and tape it to his list...LOL then he would still call me 2 or three times to ask if what he was getting was the right thing...I know how you feel not being able to do stuff...they are working on the deck today and I can't get on my hands and knees to help them...I hate not being able to do what I want and having to ask someone to do it for me....Grrrr is right!!!
Hopefully it won't be to much longer for you to heel....Sending you a big hug...Awwww.........Eastcoast sorry your still hurting.......hopefully it will heal soon......I am still praying for you......and LOL......it must be a "man thing".......LOL....my hubby does the same thing when I send him to the store after something too
hope these can make you smile (((hugs)))
Aww, I am smiling....thanks for the kind thoughts.
OK, so here is what doesn't compute with me, how can a man with a college degree who graduated near the top of his class be so clueless when it comes to realtively simple tasks?

oh and just because I said I was gonna play one.......LOL
Oh my goodness...when it rains it pours, doesn't it April? I'm so sorry you and your husband had to go through all that on top of what your dear daughter is going through. But, I'm happy to see that you still have your wonderful sense of humor about you. It really helps when you're going through tough times. And you know you have all of us here to hold your hand and pray for you, sis.
Hi April, well we will just add you and your husband to the prayer list. I am glad you are ok and it souds like your husband will be ok too thankfully. Your daughter is hanging in there and aside from the fainting, it sounds like she is holding her own.
We are here for you and your family. ((((HUGS)))) to all of you.

Hey, all!! It's been a few days.......threw myself back into real life with gusto after the finale, lol!! Miss you all and hope that you are doing well. My mom is about the same, going in to see her in the morning. It breaks my heart that she really has no quality of life. We do our best to cheer her up, but we all have jobs and families to care for also.....it really sucks.
On a lighter note.......still on a Rumer and Val win "high"!! I was so disappointed when he didn't win with Zendaya, it's bothered me ever since!! So happy that he got his win and can finally relax!! I know some of you disliked Rumer but, I really think she was a wonderful partner for Val. I really enjoyed this whole season!!
Don't think I will be going to Sway, much as I would love to. It's a very costly event, and with my mom's situation and my daughter's baby due.....don't think I should risk it. I am happy that I got to go last summer, when I was still on a daily MnM high!! Those were the days.......lol!!
I will pop in when I can, but I plan to wean myself from my daily dwts musings for a while!! There is much to do around here and I am working summer school (ugh!!!!). Even if I am not posting often, please know that I am ALWAYS thinking of you guys!! The bond that we have created over this last year is so very special to me!! April..... always in my thoughts and wishing your girl the easiest time possible.
Love to all.................xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoSo glad to hear from you Cassidy. I, too, am busy and will be even more than a normal summer because our cabin in northern Minnesota has been SOLD !!
Those nice renters I found last fall to kind of rent / house-sit have decided they want to buy it. And with furniture, applicances, window treatments, decor, fully stocked with linens, dishes, etc.included.
This is the absolute best for them and for us. We do not need another house ful of "stuff" to deal with or put into storage. Hallelujah.
I still think I'll be on board a little bit each day....checking out what CEK has found for us. I occasionally add to the other thread (like just now)
But at the very least, I hope we can all check in on Mondays to say Hi.
And during Sway, the tour, and YIKES! - Season 21 there will be plenty to chat about. Maybe a wedding for Sharkaroo. I kind of wonder if season 21 will be an All-Star. Anyone have an opinion? When was the last one...the time Val and Kelly were partners?
Yep! It was season 15; Val and Kelly came in 3rd. Melissa and Tony were 1st. I would love for Season 21 to be an
all-star with M&M dancing together and winning again, but that wouldn't be necessary for me to enjoy it.

I don't know how I missed your original post, april. But am now reading the one above that annie quoted. I'm so sorry this is hitting you all at once, it seems.
Is your husband off work for a few days then? I have passed a couple of kidney stones in the past. And now take a 1/2 tab of hydrochlorothizide every day and drink much water to prevent them.
Blessings on you. And continued prayers from you sisters that you all have the strength and resolve to just get through each day until you find yourselves walking in sunshine once again.
